Mythical Creature – Chimera

Final Fantasy X

Chimera is a mythological creature which is an offspring of Typhon and Echidna. The chimera has dragon wings and a big lion forequarters. Its stomach is filled with alumina salts, which are a byproduct of friction. This creature can also use magic and physical attacks. However, they are not immune to Silence, a debuff that can leave them defenseless. For this reason, you should use caution when dealing with this enemy.

In Final Fantasy X, Chimera is a multi-phase boss, meaning that it will use a variety of attack options. The best method is to take advantage of the ranged attack opportunities. You can also dodge and use quick hit and run attacks. If you don’t do this, you might have a hard time fighting Chimera. Also, you’ll have a limited number of strikes while the beast is grounded.

When attacking Chimeras, you should be careful not to get too aggressive. This creature is able to cast dangerous spells, and will cause you to become disoriented. Fortunately, if you follow these tips, you should be able to take down the chimera easily.

In addition to physical attacks, Chimeras can also use the magical attack Thundaga. When you are attacked, the chimera will use this attack, which can deal moderate damage. Additionally, it can also use the ‘Ram’s Breath’ frontal cone AoE attack. When the chimera uses this attack, you should move out of its range. This is because it will deal a heavy debuff to anyone in its path.

Another way to fight a Chimera is to bribe it. Chimeras can be bribed for 200,000 gil, and will drop two Level 4 Key Spheres. These Key Spheres are a super-rare item in Final Fantasy X. While the Key Spheres do not have a useful ability, they are good at blocking Level 1 and Level 2 Key Spheres, which are commonly used to block useful abilities. Be aware of this, too, because you could end up with a Level 4 Key Sphere locked and unable to use any of the useful abilities.

Other ways to defeat a Chimera are to attack it while it is grounded, or to attack it in the first phase. Although you will have a limited amount of time to strike while it is grounded, if you are careful, you should be able to kill the chimera. To do this, you can utilize the “Ronso Rage” “Aqua Breath” spell. This spell is only learned by blue mages. Once you’ve completed the fourth level, you’ll be able to learn this spell.

In addition to physical and magical attacks, Chimeras are vulnerable to the Silence debuff. They can also be frozen using the Auron’s Threaten ability. But in order to defeat this swarm, you must have access to a Level 4 Key Sphere.

If you are planning on playing in the Monster Arena, you should be prepared for encounters with Chimera. Its abilities can be a little tricky to understand, but there is a simple rule to follow. Make sure that you do not commit too much, and you should always be able to avoid being caught in a battle.
